American Advertising Federation Baltimore (AAFB) has issued a Call for Entries for the annual American Advertising Awards competition, which recognizes exceptional advertising created in the Baltimore market. The local component of AAF’s American Advertising Awards, the Baltimore awards honor advertising creative excellence in all media including print, broadcast, interactive, out-of-home and public service advertising, with professional and student categories of competition. The entry deadline is Friday, January 22, 2021 at 5 pm ET. In light of COVID-19 health and welfare concerns, physical entries will not be required this year. Digital uploads of all creative files will be uploaded during the entry process. The competition is open to all professionals and students. Members of AAF Baltimore receive discounted entry fees. A distinguished judging panel of advertising creative executives from markets across the country will identify select winners from an anticipated 300+ entries. To be eligible for consideration of an ADDY Award®, all work must have been published or aired in the calendar year of 2020.
The 2021 ADDY Award® winners will be honored during a special virtual celebration event, on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
Local Gold and Silver ADDY winners will be eligible to compete in the second level of the three-tiered American Advertising Awards Competition, under AAF District 2, which will be conducted in March of 2021. District Gold and Silver winners will then be eligible in the ultimate competition, the national American Advertising Awards. National winners will be announced June 2021 by the American Advertising Federation during the annual national conference, Admerica!
