POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketer who wants to thrive in a start-up environment. A marketer at heart who views the world through a digital lens and has no qualms diving into the details.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal staff and directly with clients on the creation, execution and optimization of ongoing paid search and social media campaigns. You need to be quick on your feet, polished in front of the client, and have the political skill to work with all types of personalities to get the job done exceptionally well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of day-to-day responsibilities is broad and ever-changing. Here are a few things that you can expect to do from day one:

Paid advertising campaigns in search and social for internal initiatives and clients

  • Create, build and execute campaigns within Google, Bing, Facebook and Twitter
  • Manage budgets, ad spend, and hours spent on individual clients and campaigns
  • Advise and train internal staff and clients managing their own paid advertising campaigns
  • Generate regular reports with insight, key learnings and clear next steps
  • Work directly with clients to present ideas and report on campaign efficacy
  • Work with internal staff on new projects to ensure proper setup and tracking of search, analytics and reporting tools

Manage social media content for internal initiatives and clients

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for acquisition and engagement
  • Generate reports with key insights and learnings
  • Work directly with clients to present ideas and report on campaign efficacy

Planning and business development

  • Play a role in social media and paid search strategy and execution both internally and on behalf of clients
  • Creation of presentations for existing client campaigns as well as new business opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in an advertising agency or digital marketing/development company, or similar client-facing position
  • Proven experience leading search and social media campaigns – show us your leadership skills and comprehension of the business
  • Proficient experience using Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads and comparable products.
  • Proficient experience with Google Analytics reporting and insights
  • Proficient experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite, as well as the native management applications for each respective social network
  • Experience working with project management applications like JIRA, TeamworkPM, Slack, and/or Basecamp (or similar)
  • Experience with organic search strategies and measurement are a plus
